Gehring Dancetheatre has been presented with a unique opportunity to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August of 2011. Currently only 5% of the Festival is devoted to dance and physical theater. Taking advantage of this lack of dance, Jodi Kaplan, dance agent/producer of international dance festivals, has started a dance “festival within the festival” and it has been widely received. Everyone has been very impressed with the quality of performances she has presented. Ms. Kaplan has offered us the opportunity to take part in this amazing dance festival, allowing Gehring Dancetheatre to be seen on an international level by not just international audiences but by the thousands of booking agents who attend the festival each year.
